Edge Bayonne
Bayonne, New Jersey
Owner: Cypress Equity Investments
Project Value: $35 million
Est. Completion: March 2021
Architect: Marchetto Higgins Stieve
Edge is a mixed-use development located in Bayonne, NJ. The 180-unit complex, also known as 222 Avenue F, will provide a collection of one and two bedroom apartments to the residents of the city. Additionally, Edge will offer 1,500 sq.ft.of ground-floor retail space to business owners in the area.
After Arc Building Partners' acquisition of Claremont Construction in June 2019, our team entered into a lump-sum contract agreement in order to take over and complete this project. Located in one of New Jersey's fastest-growing neighborhoods, the owners of this project saw an opportunity to incorporate more mixed-use housing just outside Manhattan.
The estimated $35 million project is located west of the Hudson River and just south of Jersey City, providing short commutes to residents who travel to Manhattan, Newark and Jersey City. As an up-and-coming neighborhood a short distance from New York City and its surrounding areas, developers saw an opportunity to bring modern apartment living to the residents of Bayonne. Residents of Edge will have the luxury of being located within minutes of the Hudson-Bergen light rail and the upcoming Bayonne Ferry Terminal.
Amenities of Edge include co-working spaces, a fitness center, a rooftop deck and on-site storage units. Residents will also have access to an on-site parking garage. Edge's downtown location also is within close proximity of numerous local restaurants and retail stores.
Arc Building Partners brings extensive experience in managing mixed-use projects. Our team serves as a bridge of communication for stakeholders and oversees progress to ensure proper execution of construction from beginning to end. Although the unforeseen circumstance of COVID-19 changed the timeline of this project slightly, our team worked to make adjustments to the schedule in order to remain on track. While construction is currently in progress, it is anticipated to be completed in the first quarter of 2021.
