Our team was awarded the construction management at-risk work for Athenex’s fit-out of the 6th floor within the Conventus Medical Office Building. The project was broken into two phases.
Phase I, work began August 1, 2015 and was fit-out work for approximately 28,000 sq. ft. of high-end office space. Understanding the need to complete the office space quickly for the owner to move in, the project was completed in approximately 10 weeks, wrapping up in October 2015.
The space is opulently completed, paying attention to their global connections. The space includes an executive suite, board conference room, kitchenettes and two separate office areas. Specialty items included metal and wood ceiling panels, specialty wallcoverings, wood flooring, lighting and custom window shades.
For Phase II, our team began work on the fit-out work for their 18,000 sq. ft. of laboratory space in October 2015. Some delays in funding sources paused work, which was restarted in late 2016 and was completed in September 2017. The final space includes ISO lab space, fume hood, Bio Safety Cabinets and environmental chambers.
