Arc Building Partners to Lead Buffalo Bills Training Center Expansion Project

National construction management firm’s selection comes as it completes renovation project inside the team’s home stadium, New Era Field

BUFFALO, N.Y. — Arc Building Partners, a Buffalo-based construction management firm, has been selected to lead a major expansion of the Buffalo Bills’ sports performance facilities. Team owners Terry and Kim Pegula have committed $18 million to the project, which will add 25,000 square feet of space to enhance the Bills’ strength and conditioning, sports science and sports medicine departments.

Arc Building Partners will launch the training facility project this fall. The firm is now completing an extensive renovation project inside New Era Field, the home stadium of the Buffalo Bills.

“These upgrades will create a truly premier, state-of-the-art facility, complete with the space and tools needed to allow Bills players to train and prepare for success on the field. Our job is to bring this vision for the training center into reality, and we're thrilled to get to work,” he added. “As our team pushes toward completion of the sideline club renovation project inside New Era Field, we plan to put the training facility effort on a fast-track for completion and delivery by mid-April 2019.”

A key component of the project will be expanding the weight room space to provide a state-of-the-art facility that attracts players to the team and encourages them to do their offseason training in Buffalo. The project will incorporate an array of new elements, including space for sleep pods, float tanks, a yoga studio and massage rooms, in order to provide more individualized player care, which can be critical to decreasing injuries on the field and lengthening players’ careers.

In January 2018, Arc Building Partners kicked off its work at New Era Field, which included significant renovations to the sideline clubs, end zone clubs and other premium areas. Arc fast-tracked the project for delivery prior to the start of the Bills’ season, completing major upgrades in less than eight months.
