Arc Building Partners, LLC is currently seeking a full time highly skilled Construction Cost Estimator to join our growing and dynamic team. The Cost Estimator will be responsible for developing accurate estimates from quantity take offs of documents; pricing of quantities from appropriate data and compiling estimates in the computer. The cost estimator will also be responsible for coordinating, communicating and following up with the design consultants, clients, and contractors to facilitate the estimates. Soliciting pricing from vendors and/or sub-contractors and building relationships with contractors and suppliers will be required. The position is located in Western New York. Candidates must have a 4 year degree and/or 5+ years’ related experience in the Construction Estimating field. Candidates must also be able to understand preliminary project logistic plans and project schedules in order to be successful in the position. Excellent interpersonal and communication, strong time management and problem solving skills are required. Strong math and strategic thinking skills are also required. Candidates must also be able to work independently, meet deadlines and be flexible.
